Europe’s largest travel agent cruise event has been launched in the UK and will feature five ship visits including Cunard Line’s brand new Queen Elizabeth. The Association of Cruise Experts (ACE) is to hold its 2011 convention between 3-5 May in Southampton under the theme ‘cruise365′. New for 2011 is a dedicated day specifically for owners, managers and ACE Ambassadors, the highest level of trained agent in ACE membership. More than 600 delegates are expected to attend and will include business seminars, debates with key note speakers, networking opportunities, a trade fair and up to five visits to ships including Cunard Line’s newly launched Queen Elizabeth, P&O Cruises’ Aurora, Fred Olsen’s Balmoral and Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. “We are introducing a number of new elements into the 2011 ACE UK Cruise Convention following the great feedback received this year,” said Director of ACE Flo Powell. “The opening day of the convention will be specifically for owners, managers and ACE Ambassadors to give them the opportunity to meet key industry representatives and hear the very latest news and trends. Also new for 2011 are pre-bookable meetings for delegates to take place during the trade fair.”
