EVA Air has introduced its Elite Class premium economy cabin on routes to mainland China. The Taiwanese carrier has added the class on flights from Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport to both Beijing and Shanghai Pudong, as well as between Kaohsiung and Pudong.
Elite Class features seats that are 18.5 inches wide with a 38-inch pitch, featuring adjustable leg and foot rests, moveable headrests, touch-screen entertainment systems with 8.4-inch screens, and electrical outlets for laptops or other electronic devices.
The cabin offers a selection of beverages and menus with Western and Asian dishes, served on china plates, while passengers will also be offered dedicated check-in counters and a 25kg baggage allowance.
