Job Description

Commercial Contract Manager
Contract Management Platform Deployment:
• Attend all requested platform deployment meetings to comment on all corporate agenda items including workflow, approvers, contract language, process, user experience, platform adoption and issue escalation.• Continued communication with FCM global business leaders to ensure the platform is being built in a way that supports their business goals, alleviates pain points they have identified and will help continue to streamline the contracting process. • Continued review and improvement of FCM commercial contract language and clauses including but not limited to SLA penalties, signing bonus’, program incentives, savings and low fare guarantees.• Platform testing and acceptance prior to any new deployment• Maintain thorough knowledge of business pain points and platform capabilities with the goal of creating opportunities to make better decisions based on both sets of information. • Assist in legacy contract cataloging, the building of a standard suite of reports and continually updating the correct user/license information to ensure maximum cost effectiveness. • Providing platform updates to business leadership as requested including demos, reports on usage, customer service updates, platform upgrades/capabilities and continued communication on critical platform deployment dates.
Contract Management Platform Support & Training:
• Act as the main support pillar for corporate users focused on solving level one issues (log in/access problem, general user inquires) and maintaining a strong escalation process for level 2 & 3 issues users may be experiencing. • Act as the head of training for corporate users, focusing on initial introduction, live demos, static materials, continued follow-up trainings as needed and the ability to attend team meetings to help share new information and respond to suggestions/problems the team may be having. • Documenting and sharing a comprehensive library of information on both support and training initiatives to help build self-sufficient user groups. • Act as business liaison with Platform support teams and corporate leadership to ensure our business needs are being met, timely service is being provided and monitoring costs associated with such services.
Corporate Commercial Legal Responsibilities:
• Commercial contract owner focused on all commercial terms within assigned Client, supplier, and vendor agreements. Examples include but are not limited to negotiating payment language, minimum payment thresholds, SLAs, signing incentives and bonus’ and commercial penalties.• Interpret contracts for the corporate business and advise stakeholders on the relevant terms as well as assist (when requested) in any business decisions relating to the contract terms. • Manage contract handover template/process once an agreement is fully executed with the goal of sharing the most relevant business information directly to the Parties who have a need to know. • Build strong relationships with cross functional groups including product, technology, operations, marketing, communications, and other teams to ensure close alignment on contracts before, during and after agreement negotiations. • Promote and complete regular training for various business groups relating to the commercial elements of corporate agreements. • Maintain a strong relationship with the corporate legal and risk groups, acting as an extension of their team, ensuring compliance and process for every agreement/negotiation.
FCM Commercial Project/Relationship Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing all aspects of AirPlus corporate payment partnership to include but not limited to developing and directing commercial strategy, contract negotiation, sale of products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers globally, staff development, business awareness and escalation of operational issues.• Oversight of the Bid/No Bid process to help identify strong business opportunities based on the strategy set by leadership. • Assist in the commercial strategy of an assigned group of vendor relationships as determined by the business. Help set goals, KPIs, revenue targets, attend regular review meetings to comment on the commercial standing of the relationship and assist as required building business awareness.
