Human Resource and Administration Supervisor

The Position

We need a full-time professional Human Resource and Administration Supervisor with relevant experience in recruitment, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and in general administration functions.

Functionally reporting to Webb Fontaine Asia’s Head of Human Resource & Administration, the successful candidate shall develop and administer the full range of human resource & administration programs and policies to the Commodity Inspection & Testing Services.

The Responsibilities

1. Focus Area: Human Resource Management

• Together with relevant key managers, periodically reviews the existing organization, identifies gaps and recommends modifications in staffing requirements necessary for efficient work flow
• Liaises and coordinates with HR Department personnel to ensure effective delivery of human resource services
• Coordinates all recruitment stages: job postings, screening applications, conducting interviews and on-boarding
• Coordinates with line managers and front line supervisors the effective implementation of key performance indicators, timely performance assessments and ensures that appropriate follow-throughs are conducted
• In order to minimize skills gaps, conducts training needs analysis, identifies and recommends necessary training and development requirements. If required, designs and implements training and development programs
• Addresses employee concerns, potential employee conflicts and recommends appropriate courses of action
• Conducts investigations if required, coordinates with key managers for necessary and appropriate disciplinary action and assists in administering employee discipline when needed
• Assists in payroll management by ensuring that proper approvals of DTR’s are conducted timely and accurately

2. Focus Area: Administration

• Supervises relevant processes to ensure efficient operations via effective delivery of administrative services
• Provides general administrative and logistic support to the assigned business unit including organizing company events, managing office requirements, coordinating travel bookings,
• Liaises with Finance Department on budget preparations
• Implements proper procurement practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or any related field
• 3+ years’ supervisory experience in any combination of HR functions: recruitment, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and general administration functions. Familiarity Philippine labor laws is an advantage
• A person of integrity with the ability to work in a diverse, fast-changing environment and could multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure with strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
