Fed-Ex snakes foiled at Jakarta airport

Customs officers at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport have foiled an attempt of to smuggle rare, endangered snakes into the country, the Jakarta Post has reported. Five boas, each worth an estimated IDR10 million (US$1,022) were reportedly sent via FedEx from the Philippines
Security officers found the snakes after seeing objects moving on airport scanning machines.
