Sydney will host a new motor racing series next year.
The Ferrari Racing Days event will take place in April 2014, including a round of the Ferrari Asia Pacific Challenge series and a Ferrari F1 show.
New South Wales’ Minister for Sport & Recreation, Gabrielle Upton, said the event would provide a major boost for the city’s tourism industry.
“Ferrari Racing Days will provide the opportunity for Ferrari owners and fans to gather and enjoy a range of track activities and entertainment, and experience the world of Ferrari, including an official Ferrari F1 show,” Ms Upton said. “There will also be a display of the latest complete Ferrari line-up and a demonstration of the classic Ferraris.
“Given its prestigious nature, this event is expected to attract thousands of domestic and international visiting motorsports fans,” she added.
The Ferrari Asia Pacific Challenge series and will take place at Sydney Motorsport Park from 11-13 April 2013.
This is the latest addition to Sydney’s motorsport calendar.
