Fiji gov’t agrees tourism funds
Fiji’s government has said that its 2009 budget would meet the financial needs of the tourism industry to revitalise the brand Fiji, the Fiji Times has reported the Fiji Visitors Bureau (FVB) as saying.
The industry has reportedly requested FJ$26.5 million (US$14.9 million) for marketing funds, in an effort to target of 600,000 arrivals.
