Flight Centre UK has opened a new hyperstore in Chester – its first outlet in the city.
Based on Flight Centre’s store in Madison Square, New York, the Chester hyperstore features cutting-edge design elements within an expansive retail space. Among the store’s features are LCD screens and interactive displays that the agent says have been designed to enhance the holiday shopping experience and inspire customers to travel to Flight Centre’s top destinations.
During the opening ceremony, Flight Centre welcomed loyal customers, as well as the Sheriff of Chester, Councillor Alex Black, and the Lady’s Sheriff, Janet Black, to the new hyperstore located in the centre of Chester on Bridge Street. Guests received a range of travel-inspired goodie bags and one lucky winner was chosen to win a 12 day Journey holiday.
Alison Zacher, retail managing director at Flight Centre UK, said: “Our Chester hyperstore will serve as a hub where customers can experience our travel products and benefit from one-to-one support from our dedicated travel experts.
“The store has been designed in a way that allows us to showcase our specialist businesses to customers and will incorporate new features that create a more exciting retail environment. These features will include dedicated product zones, digital signage and various tools that will allow us to assist customers to fine-tune their travel plans.”
