Amadeus Airline Ancillary Services has now been implemented for Flybe, Europe’s largest regional carrier.
By making it possible to add a chargeable bags through the Amadeus distribution channel, agents can now book the additional services requested for flights – all within an efficient and automated booking flow.
“We are pleased to support Flybe’s merchandising strategy by increasing the exposure and sales opportunities of the airline’s ancillary services… Flybe now has the tools to maximise sales in our distribution channel and partner with travel agents by offering services that add value to the traveller’s journey,” said Gianni Pisanello, strategic marketing director of Airline Distribution at Amadeus.
With 109 airlines signed-up to Amadeus Airline Ancillary Services, Flybe is the 73rd carrier to be fully implemented in the travel community.
