Flybe has launched its first ever intra-European flights with two new daily routes taking to the skies from Hannover to Lyon and Milan.
Flybe chief revenue officer Vincent Hodder commented: “Flybe’s debut into this new marketplace marks the beginning of our ambition to provide mainland Europeans with the same high level of regional connectivity and choice of high frequency time-saving travel as we currently provides throughout the UK.”
Hannover Airport CEO Raoul Hille commented: “The decision of Flybe to expand its offerings at Hannover Airport for us is a great signal to the market. Flybe has already been a reliable and successfully growing partner at Hannover Airport.”
Flybe is Europe’s largest regional airline and has been operating into Hannover from the UK, where it is also the largest domestic carrier, for nearly 10 years and currently operates to Manchester and Birmingham from Hannover, with flights up to 13 times a week for each destination. The new routes from Hannover will take the number up to 15 routes flying up to 155 flights a week out of Germany this summer.
