Footsteps in Asia extends 15% commission offer
Tour operator Footsteps in Asia (FIA) is extending its 15% commission offer to Australia- and New Zealand-based travel agents who make direct online bookings.
Introduced in April this year, the offer was originally scheduled to last three months. But the company said that in celebration of the fact that 100 travel agents now signed up to the scheme, the offer has been extended.
John Powell, FIA’s CEO said; “[Our] strategy from day one has been built on a commitment to travel agents to make online bookings a high margin business. Signing up is easy. Agents just need to access the travel agent log-in on the FIA home page and complete the online form. We then come back to them with their agent ID number and set their commission level.”
Powell added that FIA would continue to expand its travel options in Southeast Asia beginning with the availability of the 23-metre cruiser, MV Panyee, for charter. Moored off the Thai island of Koh Panyee, the vessel sleeps six and can accommodate 10-15 people for day trips.
FIA currently offers 50 Southeast Asian tours including 23 of Vietnam.
