Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc has earlier announced the debut of Four Points by Sheraton in Gujarat.
The hotel owned by Samhi Hotels (Ahmedabad) Private limited, the 104-room Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad is a conversion from an existing hotel and is Starwood’s first managed Four Points by Sheraton in India.
“Gujarat is among the fastest growing states in India and is an important market for Starwood. The debut of the Four Points by Sheraton brand in the state will strengthen the brand’s presence in the Indian market and in micro markets within larger metros. Our upscale brands offer a great opportunity for us to be able to do this,” said Dilip Puri, Managing Director India and Regional Vice President for South Asia at Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel offers one F&B venue, approximately 2,500 square feet of meeting space and a fitness centre. On completion of the conversion, the property will also feature the brand’s defining elements, including the signature Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort bed and free Wi-Fi in all public areas.
