With its opening months away, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island is now accepting reservations for arrivals beginning 1 March 2018, and offering a package to welcome its first guests.
“Everything you can imagine in a secluded tropical island vacation is here on Desroches Island,” said GM Edward Linsley, “Four Seasons will be the island’s only resort, so it’s ideal for those who truly want to get away from it all while enjoying a variety of activities and opportunities to explore.”
Accommodation comprises beachfront bungalows, villas and suites with private pools and daybed pavilions, plus three- to five-bedroom residences. On-site dining and drinking options will include the Lighthouse surrounded by Indian Ocean views, a deli, and and Claudine, offering familiar Mediterranean cuisine with a tropical twist. An organic spa will offer a yoga programme and treatments and there is a fitness centre with outdoor tennis court.
Guests can go hiking, cycling or swimming along 14 kilometres (9 miles) of beaches, through tropical forests and around reefs. The Castaway Centre features a Teen Centre and retail boutique; the Discovery Centre has interactive displays such as a 3D model of a wedge-tailed shearwater’s bird nest; and the Island Conservation Society’s Tortoise Sanctuary monitors a local population of approximately 150 giant Aldabra tortoises.
