Booming Dalian is one of China’s great success stories, with massive foreign investment in manufacturing, logistics, petrochemicals and oil refining, electronics, finance, IT and software. The exhibition industry is also prominent, at the Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center. Mr. Roland Jegge, Vice President for WORLDHOTELS Asia Pacific, said: “Furama Hotel Dalian is a welcome new affiliate to WORLDHOTELS’ fast-growing mainland China portfolio. Dalian is not only a booming city, attracting a large number of business travellers, but has also been rated the most livable city in China and one of the most beautiful, often compared with San Francisco.”
