A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300 was forced to make an emergency landing after a hole was blown in the aircraft’s fuselage, causing loss of cabin pressure. None of the 126 passengers on board were injured on the flight from Nashville to Baltimore.
Marilee McInnis, a spokesperson for the airline, said that Southwest’s entire fleet of 737-300s were inspected overnight, and the cause of the incident remained unknown.
