Enhanced engineering capabilities and a new hanger at the Sharjah FBO are plans charted out by Gama Aviation for the New Year. The
The company took on responsibility for all business aviation handling at Sharjah International Airport in early 2012 in a partnership with Sharjah Airport Authority. This partnership has grown over the years and has attracted the right kind of clientele.
A range of factors which have worked in Gama’s favour is absence of slot restrictions, ample parking space and ease of access. The FBO at Sharjah offers facilities of a VIP lounge plus a dedicated relaxation area and showers for crew.
“We already have UAE GCAA and European EASA line maintenance approvals enabling our engineers to support aircraft, including King Airs, Challengers, Globals, Legacies, Gulfstreams and BBJ’s. As we move into phase two of our development strategy next year, we will construct a new mixed-use hangar for maintenance and aircraft storage,” said general manager, Richard Lineveldt.
Gama Aviation already has access to four hangars at Sharjah, available for short and long term parking, further complemented by dedicated ramp handling and fuel, provided by Air BP. The company’s managed fleet in the region now up to eight aircraft
