London hotel subsidiary glh has launched a new hotel and residences brand with properties in London, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
The company behind Guoman and Thistle and part of Singapore-based GuocoLeisure Group will open the Clermont London in 2014 in the building that is currently The Royal Horseguards.
The hotel is to undergo a renovation in the next few months before reopening.
Its London offering its part of an initial US3.2 billion (GBP2.1bn) investment into the portfolio which will also include Clermont Singapore in 2016 and Clermont Kuala Lumpur in 2016.
glh plans to open 30 Clermont-branded hotels in the next decade, providing a luxury experience with a personalised offering.
