A general strike has brought air services in Greece to a standstill today. The country’s two largest carriers, Aegean and Olympic Airlines, have been forced to cancel all flights on Wednesday after Civil Aviation Authority workers and air traffic controllers went on strike. Ferry services were also affected. The 24-hour strike is the latest in a series of protests against austerity measures being imposed by the Greek government.
