GTA has unveiled a major new campaign to reward travel agents this festive season.
Under the new ‘Festive Rewards’ campaign, which will run globally from 7 October to 31 December 2016, hundreds of GTA’s top-selling travel agent partners will be rewarded with cash, G-Shop points and other gifts.
These prizes will go to the agents that record the highest transaction values at GTA’s hotel partners during the promotional period. Minor Hotels, which operates brands including Anantara, has already signed up as the campaign’s Gold Partner, while Starwood is the Silver Partner.
At the end of the 12-week campaign, 20 top-performing agents will each receive a cash prize of US$2,000. All other qualifying agents will go into a draw to win an iPhone 7. In total, GTA will give away US$100,000 worth in cash, prizes and reward points.
“GTA is constantly looking for new ways to engage, incentivise and reward our trade partners. With this year marking our company’s 41st anniversary, we wanted to create an extra special campaign to reflect the magnitude of this milestone,” said Andrew Hughes, GTA’s vice president of sourcing for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA).
“Together with the support of all our hotel partners, GTA will be giving away a staggering US$100,000 worth in cash, G-Shop points and prizes to reward our loyal agents. We see this as a great way of celebrating… the festive season and 41 years of outstanding client relationships,” he added.
