Gulf Air has added seven additional flights to its existing schedule to Riyadh to meet increasing passenger demand. Effective 27 October 2013, the airline will operate one extra frequency per day from Bahrain to Riyadh, increasing number of weekly flights between the two destinations by seven from 21 to 28.
Furthermore, passengers travelling onwards via Bahrain to other destinations in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, through Gulf Air and beyond to North America with codeshare partner American Airlines now have more connections.
Gulf Air’s acting chief executive officer, Maher Salman Al Musallam said: “The introduction of additional flights between Riyadh and Bahrain emphasizes importance of Saudi Arabia as one of our key markets. Our business strategy is to concentrate on high-demand point-to-point routes.”
The airline will operate a combination of narrow and wide body aircraft between Bahrain and Riyadh.
