Gulf Air commences Thiruvananthapuram flights

Gulf Air has launched its first flight to Trivandrum International Airport, commencing its operations of five weekly flights
between Bahrain and Thiruvananthapuram yesterday.
The flight GF060 took off from Bahrain International Airport at 0245 landing in Trivandrum International Airport at 0950. On the return leg, GF061 departed Trivandrum International Airport at 1045 and touched Bahrain International Airport at 1310.
“We are delighted to be strengthening Gulf Air’s network and boosting our Indian operations. The addition of Thiruvananthapuram to our network supplements the airline’s product offering, increasing customer convenience – which is our ultimate goal. Importantly, with both our first inbound and outbound flights operating at full capacity it is clear that we are meeting passenger demand – we are starting as we mean to go on!” A.Hussain A.Rahman Hussain, Gulf Air’s country manager for India commented at the event.
Gulf Air recently introduced brand new Airbus A321 aircraft into India, equipped with the latest in-flight entertainment technology and fully-flat beds in Falcon Gold class. With the new addition of Trivandrum, Gulf Air now flies to five Indian destinations.
The airline has been flying to India since the last 40 years.
