The growing potential of Saudi Arabia has attracted Gulf Air to announce two new routes.
The airline will soon connect Gassim and Taif, taking total number of Saudi Arabian cities to six. Services to Gassim and Taif will begin from 10 January 2015 with four flights per week to each city.
Gulf Air’s acting chief executive officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an important market for us and launch of services to Gassim and Taif, supplements our Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh and Medina operations.”
Both routes will be operated with an A320 aircraft. The Taif route will commence with four weekly flights on Tuesday and Saturday. While the Gassim route will also commence with four weekly flights on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
