Gulf Air gives youngsters an HQ tour

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently welcomed youth participants of the 1st Bahrain International Airport Summer Programme at the company’s headquarters in Muharraq.
The youngsters were given a tour of the airline’s headquarters and an aircraft site visit, which included interactive discussion on the national carrier’s history in Bahrain and the region.
The Bahrain International Airport summer programme will be an annual event for school students, designed to promote a series of educational and interactive learning activities amongst an important segment of the society.
Gulf Air was chosen as a key part of the programme in recognition of its longstanding and renowned contribution to the region’s aviation history and its role in support of the local community. Members of the airline participated in the programme and provided information of airline business and airline engineering.
As the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and an integral national infrastructure asset Gulf Air prides itself on having a special connection with the Bahraini community, and is involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with a number of local organisations.
The airline continues to give back to the community through activities such as sponsoring events, supporting charities and local initiatives and raising awareness of various environmental and social causes.
