In a recent development, Gulf Air has collaborated with Batelco with an agreement that will see Batelco support the airline’s on-board operations.
This will be done with the provision of iPads for Gulf Air’s cabin service managers to streamline on-board processes. The crew members will benefit from use of latest iPad technology with access to Batelco’s 4G data network and tailor -made packages.
Captain Nasser Al Salmi, Gulf Air’s chief operating officer said: “The use of iPads on-board streamlines operational performance, gives the team greater capabilities and efficiencies in handling various passenger preferences inflight.”
The airline has announced its intent to use increased technologies as part of the ongoing paperless drive which is being adopted to enhance operations and elevate customer service experience on-board. The carrier’s subsequent roll out of iPads to its cabin service managers will be finalized by the end of the year.
