In a bid to expand its online shopping portfolio, Gulf Air has launched a joint-solution with Anixe and Vayant Travel Technologies.
This partnership will improve the airline’s ecommerce website with a next-generation booking and shopping platform.
The enhanced platform supports the airline’s drive to strengthen its online and mobile channels, adding dynamic shopping and booking capabilities.
Gulf Air acting chief executive officer, Maher Salman Al Musallam, said: “This partnership with Anixe and Vayant travel technologies will improve the customer experience with travel add-ons such as rail tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, tours and more.”
For the first time the joint solution will introduce a unified booking engine for Gulf Air, replacing three separate booking engines which served different categories of bookers. Unifying the booking engine will enable the airline to reach its online targets more effectively.
