Gulf Air to boost Asian routes

Gulf Air has announced plans to increase frequencies on routes between its Manama hub and various destinations in Asia Pacific. From 11 May, the Bahraini national carrier will boost its flights to Manila from 10 to 12 weekly Airbus A330 services. Flights to Colombo will also be ramped up from seven to eight per week from 17 May, while the airline’s A320 flights to Kathmandu will increase from 11 to 12 times per week from 21 May. Finally, Gulf’s Bangkok services will see frequencies increased from seven to nine per week from 1 June, with capacity also being increased with the use of an A330 aircraft.
