Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) welcomed the first route of Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines inaugural flight to Abu Dhabi International Airport from Beijing.
The new route will be operated twice weekly connecting Beijing to Luanda via Abu Dhabi. The new service will fly out of Beijing every Monday and Friday. It will then depart from Abu Dhabi on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
James E Bennett, CEO of ADAC said: “The flights will not only increase the choice of destinations from Abu Dhabi, but they will also give Hainan Airlines’ passengers an opportunity to experience services offered by Abu Dhabi International Airport.”
Hou Weifrom, chief marketing officer of Hainan Airlines said: “We believe that expanding our network to Abu Dhabi and via Abu Dhabi International Airport opens up many more destinations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.”
The new route will be operated on a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 34 business and 199 economy seats.
