Hainan Airlines has announced further plans to expand its international network from Xi’an, the capital of northern China’s Shaanxi province.
Following the recent announcement of a new route from Xi’an to Rome, Hainan Airlines has now confirmed plans to link the historic Chinese city with Sydney and Tokyo on 23 December 2015.
The direct Xi’an-Sydney service will run twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) using a 260-seat, two-class Airbus A330 aircraft.
The direct service to Tokyo’s Narita Airport meanwhile, will run three times (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) using a Boeing 737 aircraft. Both routes are new city pairs.
