Hampton by Hilton, part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands, today announces the addition of three hotel properties in the United Kingdom. The three conversion hotels, located in Birmingham, Braintree, and Shrewsbury are scheduled to join the recently opened Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the Hampton by Hilton Corby/Kettering, in the first part of 2010.
The hotels are owned by Osborn Securities and will be managed by Hilton Worldwide. These additional properties take the number of Hampton by Hilton properties in the UK to five (Corby/Kettering, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Birmingham, Braintree and Shrewsbury), adding 500 plus additional hotel rooms to Hilton’s portfolio of approximately 18,000 rooms across all its brands. A further 3 Hampton by Hilton hotels are planned in Leeds, Derby and a second Hampton by Hilton in Liverpool.

The brand’s latest opening, the 160-bedroom Hampton by Hilton at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is located at the airport terminal, and welcomed its first guests in October 2009. The 88-bedroom Hampton by Hilton Corby/ Kettering opened in March 2009.
Guests can expect exceptional styling and quality from the three new converted properties, which will be known as Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Star City, Hampton by Hilton Shrewsbury and Hampton by Hilton Braintree. The hotels will offer standard guest rooms with king size beds and rooms accessible for guests with special needs. Additional guest amenities include a 24 hour snack area featuring light entrees and sandwiches and a bar area for guests to connect after meetings. Also on site is a stylish fitness centre and meeting space.
