Hard Rock International has opened its first location in Kazakhstan.
A new Hard Rock Cafe has launched in the country’s largest city, Almaty, close to the main Seifullin Avenue. This three-floor venue includes a large central bar and restaurant, a ‘Rock Shop’ featuring rock n’ roll merchandise, plus a venue that will play host to live music and DJs. There are also two VIP lounge areas.
Memorabilia on show at the cafe include clothes and jewellery worn by Rihanna, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, and one of AC/DC’s guitars.
“The opening of Hard Rock Cafe Almaty marks our first location in Kazakhstan, and we are thrilled to bring our world-famous brand to the vibrant and lively city of Almaty,” said Antonio Bautista, area vice president for Hard Rock International. “Almaty is ideal for Kazakhstan’s first Hard Rock Cafe, and we look forward to serving the local community.”
Hard Rock now operates a total of 192 venues in 60 countries, including 146 cafes, 21 hotels and 10 casinos.
