Hilton Hotels has announced that it has entered into franchise agreements for three hotels on the islands of Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora, in French Polynesia. Three existing hotels have been re-branded as the Hilton Hotel Tahiti, the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa and the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, effective 16 January 2009. The three hotels will be managed by Tahiti-based South Pacific Management.
The 120-villa Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa (pictured) includes 84 over-water rooms, a six-room health spa, and meeting facilities for up to 100 delegates. The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa has 106 villas, of which 54 are over-water, as well as meeting space for 120 pax, and a four-room health spa. Finally the 189-room Hilton Tahiti in the French Polynesian capital, Papeete, contains conference facilities including a ballroom, with a total of 1,858m
