Hilton Worldwide has announced that its management agreement for the Hilton Cebu Resort & Spa will end on 31 March 2011. The company stated that the termination of the contract was mutually agreed between Hilton and the hotel’s owning company, Oikonomos International Resources Corporation. All staff will be kept on, as they are employed by Oikonomos. The termination of the contract now means that Hilton does not have a presence in the Philippines.
