Hilton Worldwide hosted the first Egypt Regional Hospitality Leadership Committee roundtable at Conrad Cairo in Egypt.
The collaborative partnership committee consisting of seven global Egyptian hoteliers, invited Dr Mounir Fakhry AbdelNour, Egyptian Minister of Tourism to join the roundtable discussion on how the Egyptian hospital industry can support and strengthen tourism to Egypt by developing and promoting initiatives that could foster more positive and transparent communications and marketing of Egypt and its diverse quality tourism accommodations and attractions.
All participants joined to offer their voices to the Ministry of Tourism and associated Hospitality Associations and to explore promotional and marketing solutions, such as the New Norm for star-rating implementations, employment and other operational engagements and enhanced international communications. Potential collaborations including joint marketing events, collaborative international trade fairs and shared international and domestic media engagement were considered during the practical and substantive conversation on how to elevate Egypt to a leading tourist destination.
