Hong Kong Disneyland has announced a 14% increase in its ticket prices from 1 August this year. The price for an adult one-day ticket will rise from HK$350 to HK$399 (US$45 to US$51), while children’s tickets will see the same percentage increase, rising from HK$250 to US$285. There is good news for elderly visitors however; the price of a senior ticket will be slashed by 41% from HK$170 to HK$100. In addition, the attraction will launch a new two-day pass, priced at HK$499 or adults, HK$355 for children and HK$170 for seniors.
A spokesperson for Hong Kong Disneyland stressed that the price adjustments were the first in six years, and that they reflected a number of factors including inflation and rising operating costs.
