HK Express is adding a second Taiwanese destination to its route map.
Located on the island’s east coast, just over an hour’s flight from Hong Kong, Hualien joins Taichung in the low-cost carrier’s network.
Flights on the Hong Kong-Hualien route will commence on 6 December 2016, operating twice a week. Flights will depart HKIA every Tuesday and Saturday and return from Hualien on the following days.
“We have been wanting to connect Hong Kong and Hualien for a long time and are excited to launch this amazing new route,” said Andrew Cowen, director & CEO of HK Express. “Just over an hour from Hong Kong, the coastal city has so much to offer in terms of outdoor adventure, cuisine and culture — we have no doubt the flight sale will see insatiable demand.”
As with all HK Express flights, the new route will be operated using a single-aisle, all-economy class Airbus jet.
