Hong Kong Express is expanding its operations in Japan and Korea.
The low-cost carrier will add a brand new service to Fukuoka in April 2014, as well as adding capacity on existing routes to Osaka and Seoul.
“Japan is such an interesting and dynamic place, and more and more people are realising that there are many fascinating aspects of culture and sight-seeing beyond Tokyo,” commented Andrew Cowen, deputy CEO of HK Express. “I have no doubt that Fukuoka, HK Express’ 10th destination, will prove to be an extremely popular destination for Hongkongers.”
Commencing on 10 April 2014, the new Hong Kong-Fukuoka route will operate daily using a 174-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. Also during the month, HK Express will expand its Osaka service from daily to 11 weekly flights, while the HK-Seoul route will be doubled from daily to twice a day.
HK Express already operates to Tokyo, Taichung, Kunming, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Penang and Kota Kinabalu.
