From Oct 26 to Oct 31, Delhi will get a taste of Hong Kong, when the SAR of China launches ‘Festive Hong Kong Week’ in the Indian Capital. The week coincides with the visit of the first business delegation from HK to India, led by Chief Executive of the HKSAR government, Donald Tsang, and includes people like Raj Sital, who has headed the chamber body in Hong Kong. The HKTB has mounted an interesting programme at the Select Walk in Saket, and other venues, where the focus will be to promote Hong Kong as ‘Events Capital of Asia.’ The Disneyland and Ocean Park attractions are bringing in Disney Characters to attract the young and old crowds in Delhi. Travel agents and other suppliers will tell the trade and consumers in Delhi that the former British colony has many things to offer the Indian market, be it the MICE, corporate or the leisure.
