Hong Kong to raise fuel surcharge

Hong Kong’s aviation authorities have given the go-ahead for airlines to increase passenger fuel surcharge in January. According to a Xinhua report, the new surcharge will be capped at HK$78 (US$10) for short-haul flights and HK$362 for long-haul flight - 4% higher than the current maximums.
