Hotel Indigo expands to capital cities

Hotel Indigo, is to open 13 new hotels in capital cities, the chain’s owner InterContinental Hotel Group revealed today. The boutique brand has cited the UK as a priority, with properties set to open in Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle and London in the next two years. Hotels are also due to open in Madrid, Lisbon, Shanghai, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Vancouver, New Orleans, Mexico City and New York. “With an already healthy pipeline, we will continue to focus our distribution strategy on growing the brand in key capital and gateway cities around the world,” said Hotel Indigo’s Vice President Global Brand Management Janis Cannon.
