Hotels, leisure facilities planned for Dead Sea area

Jordan’s Dead Sea coastline is set for major development, following the Jordanian government’s decision to invest more than JD180 in building infrastructure in the district including electricity and desalination plants.The developments are in line with Jordan Development Zone Company’s 25-year master plan, which is promoting investment opportunities in the area.The zone of development will comprise 12 districts with a corniche as the main hub. This area will eventually boast hotels, restaurants, retail precincts and a beach plaza.A golf course and public parks are also part of the master development plan.
