Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate travel services company, has signed Haier as one of its newest clients. A state-owned enterprise based in Qingdao, China, Haier is the world’s fourth-largest producer of household appliances. HRG China cited its flexible approach and strong local expertise as key reasons for the contract award.
HRG China, which clinched the award following seven months of competitive pitching, will oversee Haier’s corporate travel programme. It will work closely with Haier to consolidate its travel policies, analyze travel patterns and identify savings opportunities. A designated account manager will also be assigned to Haier, who will work closely with its travel procurement and operations team.
“We are privileged to work with Haier, one of China’s leading companies. I believe that they have chosen HRG China because we have a strong and knowledgeable business management team who are able to examine issues from the client’s perspective and deliver effective value propositions to them,” said Yates Fei, Director of Sales and Account Management for HRG China.
“HRG’s flexible and customized services are tailored to meet the unique needs of clients – a critical factor to winning over Chinese companies, which value doing business with a personal touch. Through our unrivalled experience in managing local partners, we believe we have the best know-how to support Haier in implementing successful travel programmes,” he added.
By selecting HRG China to manage its corporate travel programme, Haier can benefit from HRG China’s wide range of online travel tools. One such unique feature automatically displays discounted airfares at more than 60% off - offering a smooth and convenient booking experience to business travellers.
