In an effort to enhance its customers’ experience, Hurghada International Airport has deployed new airport solutions at its new terminal.
The solutions have been deployed by SITA focusing on the passenger processing platform, baggage management and airport operations systems.
The new solutions also aid in improving operational efficiency by integrating airport systems and offering a single control point for airport operations.
Eng Ismail Aboulez, chairman and CEO of Aviation Information Technology Company (AVIT) said: “We have made major renovations at Hurghada Airport to better serve growing number of leisure passengers. SITA’s airport solutions incorporate advanced technology and align with industry trends, such as self-service.”
Hurghada International Airport’s new terminal which was inaugurated in December 2014, will raise the airport’s capacity by 115% to 13 million passengers annually.
