Hyatt Hotels has rolled out a regional expansion strategy with new hotels across several of its brands.
At least nine new Hyatt-branded hotels are expected to open across the GCC by 2017. Six of these nine new regional hotels will open in Saudi Arabia and join existing Park Hyatt Jeddah Marina, Club and Spa.
The company will also introduce its extended stay Hyatt House brand for the first time with Hyatt House Jeddah and Hyatt House Makkah.
“Hyatt’s progress in the GCC has been remarkable, and we are excited about our pipeline for the next few years. We are determined to capture resurgent business travellers, as well as growing demand in leisure travel,” said Tareq Daoud, regional vice president – sales, Hyatt Sales Force, Middle East & Africa.
