Hyatt Regency Dubai has appointed Pranav Vohra director of sales and marketing for the hotel.
Vohra will oversee sales planning, strategic marketing, revenue and annual budget for the 421-room property.
Vohra joins Hyatt Regency Dubai from his role of sales director for both Grand Hyatt Dubai and Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. He joined Hyatt in 2005 as guest service officer at Grand Hyatt Dubai.
He moved to the Sales Division in 2006 where he held various positions including associate director of sales at Grand Hyatt Dubai. He later transferred to the opening team of Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga and also assisted with the opening of Hyatt Place Dubai/Banyas Square.
He was the cluster director of sales and marketing for Hyatt Place hotels in Dubai before moving back to Grand Hyatt Dubai in February 2016.
“It is a privilege to be a part of the team at Hyatt Regency Dubai, an iconic hotel in the city. I look forward to connecting with guests and colleagues to create energising experiences at this landmark property surrounded by the charming old town of Dubai and the upcoming new Deira Islands,” Vohra said.
