Hyatt Hotels has opened Hyatt Regency Guiyang in the capital city of Guizhou province, its first property in southwest China.
The 366-room property features 144 Regency Club rooms for guests in search of more personalised service. It also offers a wide range of facilities including five food and beverage outlets: Cha Yuan, a lobby lounge; Cafe, an all-day dining restaurant; Re La La, a hot pot specialty restaurant; The Fireplace, a grill restaurant; and 7 Zhongtian Road, the hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant serving authentic Sichuanese complemented by Guizhou and Cantonese cuisines. Furthermore, the hotel’s leisure facilities include a fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and a modern spa.
Attached to the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Centre in the central Jin-Yang New District, The Hyatt Guiyang boasts a selection of dedicated meeting and event facilities, including a 863m2 Regency Ballroom that can accommodate 800 people and as well as six function rooms.
Located near the Yungui Plateau, Guiyang is the economic and commercial centre of Guizhou province and a major manufacturing hub in China. The region is not short of tourist attractions either, with Huangguoshu Waterfall (Yellow Fruit Tree Waterfall) and Qianlingshan Mountain each drawing millions of visitors each year from all over the world.
