Hyatt has entered into a management agreement for a brand new Hyatt Regency hotel in Sentul City, West Java.
Opening in 2017, the 225-room Hyatt Regency Sentul City will form part of a new mixed-use development also comprising a 22,400m² retail mall and 19,700m² of office space, less than 40km from Jakarta.
The hotel will feature an outdoor pool, a spa and extensive of meeting space.
“We are delighted to enhance our brand presence in Indonesia, and Sentul City’s growth over the past few years has been impressive,” said Ratnesh Verma, Hyatt’s senior vice president of real estate & development for Asia Pacific.
“The first Hyatt hotel opened in the Indonesian market more than 30 years ago, and we are very excited to further build on Hyatt’s strong brand equity and excellent portfolio of hotels in the country.”
Hyatt Regency Sentul City will become the sixth Hyatt property in Indonesia, following the Grand Hyatt Bali, Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Hyatt Regency Bandung, Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta, and Hyatt Regency Bali.
