Iberia resumed Washington flights

Iberia will resume its service between Madrid and Washington D.C. starting March 29 2010.Three nonstop flights a week will be in operation on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with an additional flight on Sunday over the summer months. Flights from Madrid’s Terminal 4 will leave at 16:55, arriving in Washington at 19:40. The flight from Washington will depart at 21:10 and land in Madrid at 10:30 the next day.The Spanish airline will use Airbus A-340s on this route, all equipped with a newly designed Business Plus cabin, which include flat beds. Passengers can also enjoy an entertainment program and meal service designed by the renowned Spanish chef Sergi Arola.Services to Boston will also be increased in the coming months, with a fourth weekly flight in March and a fifth in June. They will become daily in July. In 2009 Iberia carried 860,000 passengers to and from the US and has several weekly flights to New York, Miami and Chicago.
