IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts posted a 6% increase in turnover in 2013 compared to the previous year.
New openings in Mexico and South America as well as renovations in hotels in its native Spain have helped the group see turnover of EUR1.1 billion.
The Balearic Islands, Andalucia and the Canary Islands have all performed well and predominantly thanks to the British and German markets.
European levels have remained similar to 2012, with more North American tourists staying at IBEROSTAR hotels.
This year the company will continue to focus on promoting its fine dining, service and entertainment options particularly through the IBEROSTARCHEF concept.
Its city hotel openings are likely to be added to, while construction will continue on its new Colombian resort.
