The ibis Styles Birmingham Hagley Road has opened, 10 minutes from Broad Street and a short drive from Rag Market and Bullring shopping centre.
Inspired by the manufacturing and industrial history of the city, the hotel’s furniture includes restored original factory pieces and modern interpretations of industrial style such as bare metals and exposed concrete.
Focal features include Chesterfield sofas, vintage laboratory style stools and cityscape prints.
Bedrooms have artistic prints on the walls and carpets that feature geometric designs, honouring the textile houses which once called Birmingham home.
Karelle Lamouche, SVP of budget & economy brands at Accor UK, said: “The new ibis Styles Birmingham Hagley Road is a fantastic new addition to our portfolio. It wholly encapsulates the ethos behind Styles, which is to create a hotel with a unique, bespoke design to showcase the personality of the local area.”
