ibis Styles Southwark Hotel is set to officially re-open early next month. Set amongst some of London’s most iconic landmarks, from the Millennium Bridge, to the Tate Modern, ibis Styles Southwark has been comprehensively revamped.
The guestrooms have all been inspired by iconic stories; one is set in the windy city, with art deco detailing, illuminated silhouettes and bowler hat light fittings; another is set in Paris with neutral decor and monochrome fittings. Carpets are stitched with musical notes and roses. Each room features a Sweet Bed by ibis Styles.
Karelle Lamouche SVP of Budget & Economy Brands at Accor UK said: “ibis hotels are the benchmark in the economy segment and this new property showcases the modernity, comfort and well-being of the brand with the unique personality you can expect from an ibis Styles. Its distinctive, entertaining design gives our guests an experience you will not find in any other economy hotel and all set on the doorstep of one of London’s most vibrant districts. The hotel offers a musical springboard for our guests to step into the heart of Borough Market.”
The hotel is perfect for guests looking to explore the sights and sounds of the capital. Not only is it close to the bright lights of London’s famous West End and the numerous tourist attractions of the South Bank, but it offers excellent transport links across London. We’re excited to be adding this hotel to our collection of ibis Styles across the UK, and are sure that customers will enjoy its unique décor and fantastic location.”
